On My Shelf

I currently have plenty of books to read that are patiently waiting to be picked up from my bookshelves. So I’m making it my mission to finish reading all these books first, before purchasing any more from the store. It’ll be tough — what with all the great new titles coming out this year — but it needs to be done.

So what’s on my to-read shelves (in no particular order)?

Take a look below…

  1. Hey I feel a little ashamed to admitt it next to your 52 books but my new years resolutions included just one book this year: War and Peace by Tolstoy. I want to read it because it has a reputation for being the world’s longest novel, 13 hundred pages plus in the edition I’ve got. I’m already a hundred pages in and loving it and I have started a blog to let the world know what I think of it.
Good luck with your goal and never stop reading!

  2. I’ve read a few of these – you’re in for some interesting reading! Some tips: don’t read ‘her fearful symmetry’ if you’re alone in the house, it will creep you out. make sure you have plenty of time to read the hunger games, because once you start you won’t be able to stop to do anything else. and you’re gonna love the forgotten garden!
always happy to find another book-lover, can’t wait to steal your ideas for my own list of books to read!

  3. Hello, I agree with you about books Susane Collins “Hunger Games”, I’ve readt all three books for three days. It was my triumph:))) Because, despite in fact that I very like read, I haven’t enough time for it, and usually read one book two-three weeks…:))
Also last few books, which I’ve read, it’s Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, Nicholas Sparks and him books, – Note book, True Love.
Now I read Janusz Wisniewski “Loneliness on the Net” :))
    Have a nice time.

  4. 1984 is an incredible dysptopian novel. Also, try ‘Animal Farm’ by George Orwell. I liked it better. It’s a satirical novella, really cleverly put together and really eye-opening while also quite fun to read. Happy reading!

  5. For heart-warming books, “Tueday with Morrie” by Mitch Albom is great. “eat, pray and love” by elizabeth gilberts is one nice book too !
