It’s time for the Battle of the Books. A few days ago, CBC released the trailers for the Canada Reads 2012 True Stories books. I’ve had a look through all the trailers on their page, and while all of the authors have had unbelievable experiences and gripping stories to tell, I think the book I most want to read is Prisoner of Tehran, by Marina Nemat.

However, (spoiler alert!) I just checked the website for the first elimination and Prisoner of Tehran was the first to go. Sad times.
