Challenge: Day 4

Okay, I’m going to be completely honest here — I’m a total sap when it comes to books and movies. Give me a love story, I’ll cry. Give me a death, I’ll cry. Give me an illness, I’ll cry. Give me a happy ending, I’ll cry. Kid me not, I cry for a lot of things. That’s why today was especially hard for me to choose just one book that made me cry, because that’s impossible. Therefore, I’ve given you a list of books that have made me cry the most. I remember reading The Book Thief a couple of years ago during my lunch break, and I was just sobbing at the end. I had to go back to work with my eyes all puffy and my face blotchy. With Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, I was just in shock when Sirius and Dumbledore died at the end, finally crying when I closed the books. And the last Harry Potter was a sob-fest throughout. I absolutely love the Gemma Doyle trilogy, but the last book was so hard for me to get through at the end. I was crying at the train station and was given many funny looks. Sarah’s Key was also very sad at some points, and I had a pile of Kleenex by me by the end of it (thankfully I was home for those parts).

Now that I’ve shared my most pathetic moments, what are yours? I can’t be the only sappy girl in the world…
